Irvington High School CubeSat Project

We are a group of passionate high school students who have started this project out of curiosity and to learn more about aerospace technologies.

Empowering Students Through Space Technology Education

The Irvington High School CubeSat Project is a nonprofit educational initiative based in Fremont, California. Our mission is to provide high school students with hands-on learning opportunities in space technology and exploration by building a satellite to launch into space. Through the development and launch of CubeSat satellites, students gain valuable skills in STEM fields such as software and hardware engineering. Our project offers a unique chance to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting.

Students in our program learn about satellite design and construction through hands-on experience. They gain practical skills in areas such as CAD, hardware, and programming with Python.

The PROVES kit is a specialized kit designed for individuals like us who are interested in learning how to build and program parts of a satellite. The PROVES kit provides a unique and engaging way to learn about satellite technology and programming.

This project could not have been possible without help from our mentors as well as generous donations from our sponsor. Check out this section to learn more about the people we work with!

Because building and launching satellites is very expensive, we need all the help we can get. We would use this money to fund trips to the launch site, buy more parts for the satellite and much more.
